Blackout!

Tonight we had a thunderstorm and a blackout! The power went out just as we were finishing dinner. I was glad I had gotten the dinner cooked in time! We got flashlights and lit candles and finished our dinner. The lightning was flashing and the thunder was rumbling. We put the candles in the living room to wait it out. We told some stories. It was quite cozy. After about an hour the power came on again. It really makes you appreciate electricity when you lose it, but it was also a night to remember.
